Bebe Cool to Perform at ‘Enkuka’ After 10 Years Dispute

Partick Thistle FC - Queen's Park FC

Singer Big Size Bebe Cool is scheduled to take the stage at this year’s Enkuka Festival, officially titled Enkuka Masavu 2024.

This event will be held at the Lubiri in Mengo on December 31, 2024, as we welcome the new year.

It’s important to mention that it has been nearly 10 years since the Gagamel boss last performed at this event associated with Buganda. The event will once again be organized by events promoter Abitex.

Bebe Cool has often accused officials from the kingdom of showing bias against certain artists who publicly support President Museveni. The Kasepiki singer claimed that he was excluded from Buganda events because of his open endorsement of the NRM.

Conversely, according to Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and the NUP appeared to be favored by the kingdom due to the favorable treatment they received. This year’s event will feature performances by Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja, who previously had disputes with Abitex over past events. Alien Skin even organized his own successful Nkwacho Festival at Wankulukuku Stadium.

General admission for the Enkuka Festival will be priced at 10,000 shillings, while VIP tickets will cost 200,000shs.
