Popular dancer, Ritah Dancehall has announced how she’s decided to ditch dancing for active singing. She revealed this while shooting the video of her latest song.
Speaking about the transition, she said that although dance has made her who she is today, there isn’t much money. This is why she’s now decided to actively participate in music.
According to her, she’s not as good a singer as the likes of Rema, Iryn Namubiru, or Naava Grey. However, she has high energy vibes and her music will make people feel good.
Ritah also said that she doesn’t have money for now to fund her career therefore those expecting to leech off her won’t get anything.
“I have decided to start doing active music now because there’s no money in dancing. I will always be a dancer because that’s me but I also need the money. My new song will be out soon and it’s vibes on vibes that will make people feel good. I’m not so much of a soulful singer like Rema, Iryn Namubiru, or Naava Grey so people shouldn’t judge me a lot,” she said.
Ritah was also asked if she would collaborate with her friend and singer, Sheebah Karungi. The dancer said that Sheebah is a Queen who only decides who to work with and if she chooses to, they will work together.
