Jamaican reggae dancehall singer Anthony Grandison aka Dexta Daps has hit the studio with a trio of Ugandan singers. These are none other than Beenie Gunter, Elijah Kitaka, and Winnie Nwagi.
According to photos accessed by this website, the quartet were in the studio cooking something that will definitely be dropping soon.
It should be noted that the Jamaican recently had a much-publicised concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval that was heavily attended.
And as has become a common program with Jamaican artists collaborating with Ugandans after performing in the country, Dexta also extended the ritual.
Other past musicians such as Konshens, Demarco, and Beenie Man have all collaborated with different Ugandan artists after performing in the country. It’s not yet clear when the song will be released but one thing that is for sure is that it will be a banger.
Elijah Kitaka has been brilliant this year with his Dawa song being one of the standout songs of the year. Winnie Nwagi too has heavily been involved in the Swangz Avenue All-Star Album while Beenie Gunter is a popular dancehall artist especially when it comes to Jamaican culture.
