Alien Skin left the audience at Malibu Gardens in laughter after he said that both he and MP, Hon Mathias Mpuuga are thieves. The singer was one of those present as the Nyendo-Mukungwe legislator launched a new pressure group known as the Democratic Alliance.
Speaking to the audience, the Fangone Forest boss said that both he and Mpuuga are thieves, and as they say that birds of the same feather flock together, it’s going to be the case with them.
The two gentlemen proceeded to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) although its contents are not yet clear.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I want to tell you that one of my alleged crimes of why I was arrested was stealing a phone. Not everyone who is in Luzira is guilty and not everyone out is innocent. It’s also said that Hon Mpuuga stole Shs 500m shillings so we are both thieves. And as they say, birds of the same feather flock together,” said the Sitya Danger singer.
"I stole a phone. He stole… Birds of the same feather."

Mpuuga who was fired from NUP several months ago over pocketing a service commission worth Shs 500m noted that this pressure group will eventually turn into a political party. Additionally, he said that it will field candidates in the 2026 general elections at the Parliamentary level.
Some of the other politicians present at the launch of this pressure group included the likes of Hon Abed Bwanika, and Michael Mabikke among others. These argued that NUP is a compromised party that can’t bring about change in the country.
