Veteran musician Phina Mugerwa alias Phina Masanyalaze has vowed to teach local singer, Gravity Omutujju an unforgettable lesson following the latter’s new song titled Omunio.
Gravity released this song a few days ago and it’s slowly picking up in the public.
However, he has faced backlash from fellow musicians because of the title and lyrics and Phina is among those who have spoken up in protest towards the singer. She said that enough is enough and musicians who do such songs need to be dealt with.
She vowed to take the matter into her hands and said that the public should watch out for what’s to come. The Masanyalaze singer added that musicians need to learn how to package their message even if it’s sexual so that it doesn’t appear so direct.
“Enough is enough and we have to deal with such viruses that are contaminating our music industry. I can’t even pass the title of his song in my mouth. We are going to deal with such musicians severely. There are a couple of musicians who know how to package their lyrics and this is what everyone should do. Watch the space and see what is going to happen to him,” she threatened.
Phina joins another singer, Da Agent who came out to criticize the Okwepicha singer after the release of the controversial song. Gravity however seems very comfortable with these type of songs because they are always commercially successful for him.
