Problems seem to keep piling on embattled socialite, Nasser Nduhukire more known as Don Nasser. This is after he was officially charged with serious counts of drug abuse and sexual exploitation. The sexual exploitation case includes aggravated trafficking and defilement since the victim is a minor.
Promise Gatete aged 19 his accomplice in all this saga has been charged with the same counts too.
It’s alleged that in May 2024, Nasser together with his affiliates who are yet to be apprehended lured young girls especially students into a network of pornography, sexual exploitation as well as drug abuse. This was all done using the socialite’s influence according to the State.
More serious in this case is the exploitation of a minor aged 16 years. According to the charge sheet of these alleged crimes, the said minor was transported from Tagore Apartments which is located along Acacia Avenue in Kampala. She was taken to Don Nasser’s place found in the Kito zone in Kira Division.
From May 23-27, this young gal was reportedly held captive and it’s further alleged that the socialite engaged in sexual intercourse with her.
The charge sheet further recounts how this victim was allegedly taken to Don Nasser’s bedroom by an unclothed woman. An HIV test that turned negative was performed on her.
After this, it’s further reported that she was downed in a binge of cocaine. However, both the duo have denied the charges.
It should be noted that Don Nasser was arrested in Kenya in September after being on the run for a couple of months. Both he and Gatete have made a couple of appearances in Court and applied for bail but in vain.
