Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura in Tears as Her Brother is Murdered in City Robbery

Deputy Kampala Lord Mayor and member of FDC Doreen Nyajura is mourning the death of her younger brother Tugume Albert Cook who was shot dead.

Tugume Albert was murdered on Thursday by shooting while at his workplace in Ntinda Kigowa Road where he was operating a mobile money business.

According to police, it was a robbery gone wrong and that is how Tugume Albert Cook lost his life to unknown assailants.

“My brother Tugume Albert Cook has been abducted at gunpoint from Central Road, Ntinda Kigowa road. One person has been shot dead. He operates a mobile money shop. My brother has been killed,” Nyanjura told Boom Uganda.

In Uganda guns are illegal but there is always gun violence around the country. Innocent people have lost their lives on many occasions.

Investigations of Doreen Nyanjura’s brother’s death are ongoing, and the family is hoping to find the killers and get justice for him.
