Renowned singer Hajjat Stecia Mayanja has opened up about her alleged deportation from Canada where she has been for the past two years.
Hajjat Stecia returned early this month. However, before her return, some reports made rounds on social media that she had failed to attain documents to keep her in the country.
According to Stecia Mayanja, she didn’t go to Canada to work in the first place. She revealed that she had gone for treatment but ended up working to be able to find funds to pay her treatment fees.
She also cleared the air about her deportation saying that she couldn’t work anymore because she had got all the treatment she needed.
“I had to clarify the truth about my deportation when I arrived, I made it clear that I was never deported and I wasn’t in Canada for greener pastures,” -Stecia Mayanja.
The singer said she is happy and comfortable in Uganda.
She further revealed that she’s willing to get married again and also returns on stage for performances.
