Jackie Chandiru Sheds Light on How She Almost Bleached Her Skin After Constant Bullying

Blu3 singer Jackie Chandiru has narrated how she almost bleached her skin after constantly being bullied at school for being very dark-skinned.

Jackie Chandiru said that she has always questioned God for her colour and why he made her darker than others.

In the entertainment industry especially music, looking good is very important. The light-skinned and well-shaped girls are always liked the most compared to the dark ones.

For Jackie Chandiru, it is not about the entertainment industry. The questions about her skin started when she was in school and continued after being a musician.

Chandiru revealed that she thought about bleaching but didn’t believe that it could make her skin brown hence failing to even try to use any of the bleaching creams.

At the moment Chandiru said she has come to terms with how her skin looks, unlike the days she was bullied.

“Yes, when they used to bully me for being dark, I wanted to bleach, but I didn’t know it was possible. I only kept asking God why He made me so dark,” Jackie Chandiru.
