Socialite, social media influencer and media personality Martha Kay’s popular ‘sumbie’ pics have resurfaced and are making rounds on the internet again.
It all started with retired Assistant Inspector General of Uganda Police, Asan Kasingye who came out a few days ago and made thoughtless remarks about content creator Martha Kay. Kasingye’s sumbie pics that were released a few years ago, he has now deleted the tweet, apologized, and went on a one month strike.
It all began when Martha Kay shared her thoughts on how deleting a message after sending it can lower one’s confidence. This statement sparked a debate among her followers. However, the discussion took a sharp turn when Kasingye commented that many found insensitive.
His now-deleted post read, “Even when you post your ‘noodles’ accidentally? Be serious.”
Confidence is sooo attractive.

Whenever you send a message and delete it, you lose confidence points.
Stop!😒
The backlash was brutal and intense. Critics accused Kasingye of using Martha Kay’s misfortune—her private photos had been released by a blackmailer in 2019.
Kasingye then quickly removed his comment and issued an apology.
“I want to clarify that my post was meant as light-hearted banter and not to imply anything negative about Martha Kay’s situation,” Kasingye explained. “Once I understood the impact of my words, I deleted the post and apologize for any distress it caused. To show respect, I will refrain from posting on social media for the next month.”
Amid this, fans and followers are rallying behind Martha Kay, highlighting her strength and the importance of handling such sensitive issues with care and empathy.
