Fangone Forest singer Alien Skin has been accused of physical abuse by up-and-coming musicians Berlin and Eyo Shata just after being released from Luzira Prison over violent conduct.
According to reports, the two employed artificial intelligence (AI) to produce their song “Ndi Munene,” which features vocals by Alien Skin and tells the story of his recent ordeal at Luzira prison and how he came out stronger.
Music lovers incorrectly think the song is his original, and it has been making the rounds on TikTok since it was uploaded a week after Alien Skin.
Berlin claimed that he received a phone call from blogger Chicken Chicken on Monday morning, telling him that he and Eyo Shatta, as well as the song’s producer Alvin On The Beat, were required at Alien Skin’s residence.
They were invited under the guise of working on a remix with Alien Skin.
The whole situation was orchestrated to draw them to his location, where they were showcased in front of Alien, who stole their belongings, including phones and money.
They live-streamed the incident on TikTok, and not long after the broadcast ended, Berlin and Eyo Shatta reported that a large group of Alien’s gang members had assaulted them.
As he commanded his crew to shave off their hair, he continuously questioned them about why they had released a track using his voice.
Berlin asserts that Alien instructed his gang to attack them in such a way that it wouldn’t leave any visible injuries or marks that could serve as evidence against them.
“This industry is shocking because how can someone we look up to treat us like this? He beat us like we were thieves. He watched them beat us,” narrated Berlin.
Berlin is currently experiencing significant physical pain, and he asserts that his friend Eyo Shata is in the hospital. He is hesitant to file a police report against Alien, as he feels there will be no consequences.
“Alien Skin assaulted me as though I had done something to provoke him. They seized me and struck me fiercely at Alien’s command. He told them to leave no evidence behind. Given the severity of my beating, they might have been trying to make a statement. He acts as if he is untouchable, and I am aware that even if we report him, he will not be held accountable. There is no justice in this nation,” he lamented.
