The ‘Party’ singer arrived at Makindye Court on Monday morning with his bodyguard, Julio real name, Julius Mugabi, with whom he is being charged.
It should be recalled that the duo were taken into custody last week on Tuesday after a scuffle at St. Francis Hospital in Nsambya following the unfortunate death of one of their affiliates, Jerome. Alien Skin was arrested after public backlash and charged with cases of assault and robbery.
According to the charge sheet, the singer is accused of stealing a mobile phone worth Shs 5 million as well as beating up staff at the hospital. The case of the phone theft however happened at a different location, H&M restaurant which belongs to another singer, Haruna Mubiru.
Clad in a black jumper and a head sock potentially covering his clean-shaven head, the singer pleaded not guilty to all the charges labeled against him.
Judge Esther Adikin considered his bail application, and the singer was remanded back to the coolers in Luzira until Thursday, November 28th.
“Since the parties want to reconcile, I wouldn’t look at bail at this time,” Her Worship Esther Adikin stated as she sent the singer back to the university of understanding.
The singer’s fans were present to show support to their “top 10” singer as well as fellow musicians. His mother was also present at this Court hearing. There’s a lot of positivity amongst the Fangone Forest that the singer will be released in the next court hearing.
