Musician Derrick Ddungu alias Rickman Manrick has been roasted by netizens forcing him to reveal his financial details on social media platform X.
The ‘Ayizulu’ singer opened the criticism on himself after he commented on American rapper, Kendrick Lamar’s just released GNX Album that has swept across different online streaming music platforms.
The rapper stated that Drake would have sounded better on these Kendrick tracks. Apparently, some of his followers probably fans of the ‘Not Like Us’ rapper didn’t take the diss lightly.
One comment asked the singer if he even has a song with over a million views online.
“Do you even have a single song having more than 1 million views across all platforms combined,” the comment read.
And not wanting to be demeaned, the Baliwanika singer punched back ferociously with receipts. He posted a screenshot showing some of his views plus the earnings. It’s fair to say that the singer earns some considerable money from his music online.
This screenshot showed that the singer has over 7 songs with over one million views raking in some thousands of dollars for his brand.

Apparently, earning from online music platforms is a lucrative venture that several musicians in Uganda seem not to have embraced yet. Most of them still rely on physical performances which seems strenuous in the long run.
