Kawempe North Member of Parliament Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad’s mother Justin Ssanyu has revealed that her son’s political journey is still alive.
Ms. Ssanyu said that she doesn’t think Ssegirinya is going to give up on his ambitions despite the illnesses and all the problems he has gone through ever since he was elected.
Hon Ssegirinya has been in and out of the hospital ever since he was elected as a member of parliament. Things even got worse when he was accused of carrying out multiple murders in the Masaka region.
In his time in prison, the member of parliament couldn’t get good medical treatment which left him with more severe health conditions.
Being hospitalized for some time, fans thought that he would give up on politics but that’s not how it is.
The mother of Ssegirinya said that her son is trying to be better and once he is okay he will contest for the parliament seat.
“My son Hon Ssegirinya is doing much better and he will return to contest as a member of parliament in the coming elections 2026,” Ms Ssanyu said.
