Ugandan singer Maro has opened up about his struggles in Germany where he moved with his white wife and child.
Maro said that as a celebrity in Uganda and living the best life, everything changed when he went where no one knew him.
As if that wasn’t enough, he also faced other challenges of language barrier which left him questioning his decision.
Many Ugandan celebrities move abroad to make a living, but some of them come back regretting their decision, saying they wish they hadn’t left.
For Maro the main reason he even moved to Germany was to be with his said the problem was the long distance and he found it worth to be the person to actually move.
“I used to do odd jobs in Germany. My English helped me a lot but all I can say is that being in a foreign country is not a joke at all,”’ Maro.
