Media personality Douglas Lwanga has refuted rumours asserting that singer Sheebah Kalungi is being denied a stay in Canada.
There has been a rumour that the singer left the country to find a better country to give birth to so that her child can acquire citizenship in that country.
She happened to have a show in Canada but she is heavily pregnant and most countries don’t allow entry of heavily pregnant women.
Ugandans living in Canada immediately started speculating that Sheebah was among the people who were denied stay for her to be able to give birth.
According to Douglas Lwanga, all the news spreading is fake. Sheebah is in Canada doing well waiting for her show and vacation.
“I don’t know what Ugandans are up to but the fake news is becoming too much. Sheebah has never been denied a stay in Canada. She is waiting for her show and after that, she will do whatever she can,” Lwanga clarified.
Before the singer left her friends did for her with an expensive baby shower and she is just waiting to give birth.
