Events promoter Abtex real name Abbey Musinguzi is blaming National Unity Platform (NUP) President and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine for losing the Enkuuka gig.
As Buganda Kingdom partner, Abtex Promotions has been organizing Buganda Radio, Central Broadcasting Services (CBS FM)’s annual event ‘Enkuuka’ which always happens on December 31st, to bring Baganda subjects together to celebrate the end of each year in style.
Unfortunately, during last year’s event, Abtex risked bringing Bobi Wine to perform for the people but failed to show up since he was suspended from organising music events in Uganda after joining politics.
According to Abtex after that attempt, he was told that it was his last chance but he hoped that Bobi Wine would somehow fight for him which he failed to do.
The promoter said that if it wasn’t because of him he would now be counting money that he will get from this year’s Enkuuka.
“Me and Bobi Wine cut ties he knows what he did to me last year in Nkuuka. I lost that job which used to bring me the most money in the year. Bobi Wine isn’t an easy person I don’t want Ugandans to be deceived although they like him,” Abtex.
