Ugandan promoters led by their now President Juma Balunywa have asked Gen Salim Saleh to stop pretending like he doesn’t know them yet he has met them on several occasions.
Balunywa said that Saleh has met Promoters multiple times and they have had some good discussions and have shared so many ideas.
Gen Salim Saleh took it upon himself to help the entertainment industry ever since COVID-19. He gave out money to musicians and promoters, who met him.
The problem came in when the money couldn’t be distributed even among the promoters as they had agreed.
Promoters claim that when they talked to him he promised to help those who didn’t receive the money but unfortunately, it hasn’t happened.
Now that they are going to him he is denying ever meeting them or even promising them anything that concerns money.
“Gen Salim Saleh knows us very well and we also know him. We have met him multiple times and he knows what he promised us so denying knowing or even ever meeting us is the blow,” Balunywa.
The promoters under their association said that they don’t want to lie about anything and the truth is that Gen Salim Saleh knows them so well, they have talked about different things including helping them.
